Nestled along the Amalfi Coast of Italy, near the island of Capri, exists a small Mediterranean fishing village called Positano. Protected by the Latteri Mountains, this beautiful little town is built up in tiers of buildings that cling to the rocks, where each home is closely huddled on top of the other. Small, narrow stairways that weave between the structures provide a maze of access paths that lead from the beautiful beaches; the Marina and the Spiaggia Grande, to the peak of the hill-top vistas. Vibrant colors and multihued foliage dot the landscape, providing an unbelievable view of small shops, quaint homes, restaurants and hotels.
This paint was created from photos taken while my wife Mary and I were visiting this charming and unique, hidden corner of the world.
